Full Job Description

You will be managing and delivering business intelligence analytics projects within Insight & Performance (I&P), adding to Macmillan's structured evidence base and producing insights to drive organisational performance.

In this role you will align, synthesise and augment performance analytics from multiple data, evidence, research and feedback sources, ensuring outputs are shared in the most accessible and impactful way.

In addition to this you will be managing strong day to day relationships with external business intelligence agencies, delivering to key objectives and priorities in order to maximise effectiveness and value for money for Macmillan.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Strong analytical and programming skills; including experience with SQL and Python.

  • Experience of predictive analytics, e.g. logistic regression or other predicting modelling techniques, segmentation and decision trees, across the customer journey.

  • Experience with Azure is desirable but not essential.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to work with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to synthesise and present data in a usable manner for a range of audiences.

  • Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the structure of databases and their implementation, ensuring quality, integrity and accuracy of data.
