Full Job Description

Prime Video European Finance team seeks a business intelligence engineer to support Amazon Studio's Music Licensing Team in the reporting and operational elements of Prime Video's deals with music and non-music societies worldwide. This role owns the end-to-end processing of usage reporting, vendor communication regarding reporting, and the automation and improvement of reporting systems/processes. This role requires someone who can build scalable data pipelines, manage queries and data sources, identify and implement process improvements, and is able to effectively work cross-functionally with other teams- able to translate technical information into simple terms., Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include:
· Execution and delivery of quarterly/historic/adhoc reporting
· Gather and translate business requirements into scalable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
· Maintenance and updating of queries for change of terms
· Society communication and ad-hoc support
· Provide guidance on reporting guidelines and data sharing
· Collaboration with Prime Video data engineering teams to ensure accurate reporting
· Providing sample data sets prior to deal execution
· Troubleshooting/reviewing data quality issues or inquiries
· Develop automated solutions to simplifying reporting processes
· Work towards alignment with music industry reporting standards

Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in the data/BI space

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
