Full Job Description

EEAST has an opening for a senior role within our Informatics Department - The Business Intelligence lead will line manage the business intelligence advanced analyst and will support the Head of Business Intelligence in providing proactive statistical information to the organisation.
Suitable candidates will need excellent NHS understanding as they will be providing specialist advice and guidance on statistical matters including the development and analysis of health-related data sets that can be used for performance planning.
The Business intelligence lead will deliver highly complex and sensitive information to large groups of senior managers in presentation form. They will also be responsible for leading analytical projects and ensuring deadlines are achieved., Liaising with departmental leads across the organisation is key to enable the best technologies are available to the Trusts board for performance monitoring.
The candidate will need to be able to travel to Trust sites for meetings with executives when required.
Partial remote working is possible for this role and can be discussed with the successful candidate.
Ensure reporting mechanisms and robust databases are in place to support Trust officers and the Board on all aspects of performance management against NHS Plan targets as an aid to decision making.
