Full Job Description

We're looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to join our growing team. Day to Day You'll Be:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Business Intelligence Solutions.
  • Work with members of the business to develop reporting which describe the key metrics for TransUnion UK, progress against TU UK strategy and product performance.
  • Ensuring a single version of the truth for all metrics and key performance indicators used across TransUnion UK
  • Manage the future development and exploitation of the existing reporting suite.
  • Continuously Optimize reports, processes, and procedures for scale and efficiency
  • Analyse Data trends and turn complex data into actionable insights and reports.
  • Proactively identifying visualization needs and partnering with data engineering to ensure implementation.
  • Consistently refine our data visualization practices giving users the best experience possible
  • Problem solve and debug complex Business Intelligence systems, including database systems and Data Warehouses, to allow defect analysis and fixing.
  • Collaborate across organization and be technical expert on Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Work with the team to ensure continuous process improvement.

    Must have a passion for data analytics.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Data Warehouse and reporting technologies, SQL, Alteryx, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI
  • Advanced experience in designing and developing Dashboards / MIS / Reports
  • Advanced experience in integrating the dashboard with Databases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Testing experience is required.
  • Modern development practices such as Agile, source control, coding standards for example
  • Plans, organizes, and manoeuvres obstacles to deliver results.
  • Problem solving skills to identify root cause and permanent resolution.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels including the senior management.
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Manages time, responsibilities, and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Passion for quality excellence, methodical, thorough and diligent
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to perform on a team or with minimal supervision.
  • Engage with business and technical teams to drive consensus.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead diverse teams of varying sizes.
  • Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Commercial experience of Business Intelligence development Dashboards / MIS / Reports,
  • Experience of SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services, PowerView
  • PowerPivot
  • Experience of SharePoint 2010/ 13
  • Experience with large databases
