Full Job Description

  • What you'll do

    In this role, you'll be supporting the leadership team to plan ahead and deliver our business strategy in line with our long-term goals. You'll be the primary interface between the Managing Director (MD) office, leadership team and other internal and external stakeholders, providing support that enables the MD to maximise their performance leading Customer Goals & Journeys and ensuring that all responsibilities are met.

    While driving and implementing processes aligned to bank-wide policy and business frameworks, you'll also oversea engagement agendas such as pay, leadership team operating rhythms and the creation of papers and executive reporting including headcount reporting, monthly finance cost reports, monthly forecasting, budget setting, and cost control initiatives.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Making sure performance and business management activities are aligned to the broader bank-wide strategic agenda

  • Working in partnership with areas right across the bank in the planning and management of business support activities, projects and processes

  • People planning, including capability, engagement and communications

  • Reviewing relevant MI and providing analysis of data

  • Ensuring the MD is briefed and fully informed about all elements of business performance and, where relevant, developments across the wider organisation

  • Defining and leading the execution of key business and operational processes on behalf of the MD

  • Co-ordinating the activities of the customer business leadership team members in line with MD defined priorities, helping translate strategy into operational support and activities that will deliver the strategy

    We're looking for someone with excellent experience of working in a leadership support or business management role. You'll need a broad knowledge of the customer business and how it interacts with the rest of our business.
