Business Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join our team at HMP Leicester, a category B Prison located in Leicester, As a Business Manager, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Be responsible for completing reporting for the prison, working with senior management and informing senior operational management of any ongoing performance against the key service targets. This role also includes oversight for the day-to-day management of the clinical system (SystmOne), acting as the teams super-user to support clinical and non-clinical colleagues in their use of this.


• The role is essential to assist in the development of management information and reporting systems which will support managers in the delivery of operational services. HMP Leicester are looking for someone with the enthusiasm and ability to provide support and guidance, in relation to Business, Quality and Performance.


• You will carry out general administrative duties within the prison, as well as working within set routines, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service to the unit, and able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients and staff enquiries.

• Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent grade C or above


• NVQ 2 Business Administration or equivalent


• Working experience of a clinical patient administration system (PAS) (SystmOne preferable)


Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.

  This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £40,425 per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks., £35,700 to £40,425 a year up to £40,425 per annum - depending on experience
