Full Job Description

Greater Manchester ICB Bury operate a Continuing Healthcare/Complex case service on behalf of the registered population Bury.

The post holder will be responsible for providing and oversight of a comprehensive administration and secretarial service to Bury CHC/Complex healthcare team.

You will be responsible for line managing the CHC/Complex Care Team Administration team members. This role also includes completion of NHSE data returns and Freedom of Information requests and assisting in the Continuing Healthcare training Programme. You will be expected to work within set timescales and strict deadlines. The post holder will be responsible for promoting and managing the CHC Personal Health Budgets process.

The post holder will be required to travel across the Bury locality in a timely manner., The post-holder will be required to work in partnership with various providers of care, other agencies, professionals, clinicians and practitioners to ensure GM ICB - Bury is compliant with the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded-Nursing Care and its associated and updated legislation and guidance.

The post holder will be responsible for the line management administration staff members. They will be required to lead the administration team in meeting the demands of the service and will be required to develop pathways and processes that support the delivery of the Continuing Healthcare/Complex Care Service

The post holder will be required to work closely with the Service Lead, finance, commissioning and GM in the development and implementation of the local offer for Personal Health Budgets for people in receipt of Continuing Healthcare funding. This will include development of generation of indicative budgets and completion of statistical returns for NHS England. The post holder will also be required to complete the monthly payment schedule for PHB payments.
