Full Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to provide excellent management to the Ear, Nose and Throat(ENT) service within the Specialist Surgery Directorate at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The post holder will oversee administrative functions and provide day-to-day senior operational management for the delivery of the ENT service and processes in the department., The business manager will lead a number of functions within ENT and Head and Neck services: This will include day-to-day management of:

  • All departmental KPIs e.g. PDRs, core skills training, local induction
  • Local recruitment processes, including bank and agency requests
  • Members of the administration team
  • The annual business planning process
  • The department risk register
  • Departmental reporting cycle, including drafting of key reports for executive and board level committees
  • Pay and Non-Pay Budget as well as Income plans
  • The post holder will contribute to the delivery of challenging performance targets through effective communication and liaise with staff across the Trust as well as organising and analysing complex data.

    Candidates will have experience of effective operational management and delivery of high quality services within a busy hospital setting. The successful candidate will be actively involved in shaping the delivery of our services.
