Full Job Description

  • This position is in the AAE/ EMEA Business Management team, who reports to the EMEA General Manager
  • The team is part of AAE Distribution and reports up through the AAE Distribution Business Unit Head
  • AAE Distribution, including EMEA Distribution is an important part of the firm's global diversification aspirations and is undergoing a rapid state of investment and growth
  • The main purpose of the role is to support commercialization initiatives for EMEA Distribution, as well as general business and change management activities
  • Principal Responsibilities: Lead commercialization initiatives to support business growth:
  • Oversee and manage client assurance activities within EMEA Distribution, ensuring that internal teams responsible for managing client relationships and delivering services are aligned, informed, and equipped to provide the best possible experience for clients in relation to pricing, fees, and exceptions across EMEA Distribution.
  • Provide strategic support and contributions to the annual planning processes, including budget and technology prioritization for business unit needs to support business needs/strategic plans.
  • Provide support and develop solutions to address complex ad hoc business requests.
  • Partner with EMEA GM to assess business needs, cost drivers, external environment, and data in order to execute on the EMEA Distribution strategy and run the business.
  • Lead initiatives to continually improve processes:
  • Builds consultative partnerships with business partners to identify opportunities to improve existing processes, data flows, or allocations based upon changing business needs.
  • Execute on implementation plans that ensure effective deployment of process changes.
  • Ensure an effective business as usual model exists to support the process change on an on-going basis.
  • Provides support on running of the business activities:
  • Financial inquiries and updates (e.g., headcount monitoring, etc.)
  • Develop and review high profile reporting outputs and presentations (e.g., Executive Committee updates, internal presentations, budget submissions, etc.) to senior stakeholders.
  • Support effective execution of the EMEA Distribution functional routines and governance.
  • Manage internal events including offsites/ conferences.

    Prior global Asset Management experience (8 years+) and knowledge of AM products and vehicles in the context of EMEA markets
  • Prior experience in a similar business management position or equivalent
  • University degree or International equivalent
  • Strong relationship management skills and customer orientation - demonstrated ability to build credible relationships within business unit, and across the organization.
  • Proven project management experience with a business perspective and strong process orientation with a history of delivering results
  • Strong analytical skills with keen instinct on how to gather meaningful data and synthesize it to represent a story to senior managers
  • Ability to independently and proactively manage time and shifting priorities effectively while in a challenging operating environment
  • Commercialization mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, presentation
  • Preferred:
  • Prior experience with client assurance activities including; pricing, fees, and exceptions within an EMEA Distribution team
  • Fluency in another European language
  • Previous exposure to US working culture and multiple time zones
  • Strong knowledge of TRP business
