Full Job Description

  • Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team to assist the Headteacher to ensure the school meets its educational aims.
  • Be responsible for providing professional leadership and management of the administration and site staff.
  • Be responsible for the Financial Resource Management / Administration Management / Management Information Systems and Human Resource Management / Facility & Property Management / Health & Safety Management of the school.
  • Be accountable for the school finances income, expenditure and reconciliations of school accounts to include budget preparation, monitoring and payroll.
  • Attend senior management weekly meetings and Governors meetings as required.
  • Support and influence the strategic decision making within the school's Senior Management Team
  • In the absence of the Headteacher, take delegated responsibility for premises, financial and other decision with the Deputy Headteacher.
  • Plan and manage change in accordance with the school development / strategic plan.

    The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated and strategic business manager who will ensure operational excellence to join our highly successful team. The successful candidate will take up the position as early as possible after 1st April 2025.

    Salary : Grade 8, £32,494 - £36,439 per annum. 37 hours per week, term time plus 4 weeks working 42 weeks per year
