Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity within the Commercial Directorate Direct Wing, Centralised Business Operations Management (BOM) Team function. Working within the team based in either of the Blackpool, Sheffield or Manchester Commercial Hubs, you will work closely with the BOM Team G7, and lead a small team responsible for providing effective business support to the 4 Commercial Categories, within the Direct Wing, to ensure the best possible service and value, is delivered.

You will have responsibility for ensuring the timely delivery and management of essential commercial support services on a variety of activities which include recruitment, risk, and the collection and coordination of information for the Categories Commercial pipeline. A large part of this role will include effective Line and Milestone management to ensure deadlines are met, whilst supporting the team with personal development to build capability.

The post is challenging, it requires pro-active and innovative thinking, with good communication and leadership skills and an outgoing and enthusiastic approach to challenges. You will possess the ability to deliver at pace, provide effective coaching, give direction and handle successfully the delivery of a number of competing priorities.

An ideal role for someone with an outgoing and enthusiastic approach to challenges. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting activity across the commercial categories and provides an insight into the Commercial function.
