Full Job Description

The successful candidate will become an integral member of the Business Operations Team, which primarily controls / monitors Organisational Planning, Governance, Transformation, Improvement, Knowledge Management, Collaboration and Special Projects across multiple locations; whilst additionally coordinating Business Performance Reporting, supporting the development of Business Strategy and maintaining the Business Continuity Framework.

Whilst working within the Business Operations Team and the wider Business the successful candidate will have access to a vast training library that will aid the development of an introductory level of project planning, cost control, and analysis methodologies and techniques, which will be used to:

  • Generate and adjust resource planning projections to support the Operational Planning activities that are performed between the Business Winning, Delivery and Functional Teams;

  • Assist Strategic Planning Team to ensure seamless resource planning by generating customised scenario plans and establishing a regular dialogue that maintains transparency as resource plans evolve;

  • Interact with a wide variety of off-the-shelf and bespoke tools to ensure the Business Operations Team use best practice and that data is recorded/reported to a high level of accuracy;

  • Supply project history research that develops analysis supporting a variety of operational planning activities, providing recommendations and requirements to enhance standardised reports and bespoke modelling;

  • Support the monitoring and Governance over Organisational Compliance, the implementation of Business Continuity management activities and the various Transformation and Change initiatives across the Business.

    Currently studying a Business Undergraduate degree course;

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

  • The ability to listen, understand and communicate information;

  • Attention to detail and good written / verbal communication skills;

  • The desire to work in an open and trusting environment;

  • A strong interest in developing yourself;

  • Good organisational skills and an interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems;

  • Able to make decisions based on evidence;

  • Experience of using databases is beneficial, but not essential., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

    We have an exciting internship opportunity within our Business Operations Team to gain hands-on work experience in the application of conceptual and theoretic resource planning at Space Digital UK level. Directly interfacing with all Business Winning / Delivery teams, this role will support the monitoring and control over the demand for staffing across all Research & Development, Business Winning and Project / Service Delivery activities.
