Full Job Description

As a Business Planning Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for the planning capability of a growing business, developing processes and procedure which would enable future growth in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for the analysis and presentation of key business information to support the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives to support operations and the fulfilment of key deliverables to our customers.

This role will include broad stakeholder engagement across multiple areas of the business to ensure alignment of activities to reduce non-value-add activities and improve the efficiency of our people, production, inventory, and supply chain activities.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Business Planning Specialist

  • Specialised experience in data analysis and business planning roles

  • Experience in using complex data sets and sources of information to provide valuable insight and recommendations

  • Demonstrable experience in utilising demand and capacity planning tools

  • Experience in stakeholder management and communication at all levels of business

  • Understanding and adherence to governance processes

  • Previous experience in SAP or equivalent Material Requirements Planning systems


  • Qualifications for the Business Planning Specialist
  • Minimum A Level or equivalent including Maths and English


  • Security Clearance
    The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
