Full Job Description

You will be part of the outsourcing function of our Financial Accounting Advisory Services team. The outsourcing team serves as an extension of our clients' finance team, supporting them in meeting their bookkeeping and compliance needs. We ensure that our clients reporting is timely and accurate and therefore forms a sound basis for clients to fulfil their tax and reporting obligations with consequent benefits for society.

A look into the role

As a Business Process Outsourcing Associate Director within our Financial Accounting Advisory Team (FAAS), you will be:

  • Working with the existing leadership to gain an in-depth understanding of the business and processes

  • Leading and inspiring our people in taking the business forward through change and growth

  • Leading business growth by supporting existing leadership with various initiatives such as identifying and converting opportunities to offer outsourcing solutions, writing proposals, building external network of clients and presenting in external / internal events.

  • Managing a portfolio of interesting clients with varying degrees of complexity, giving you exposure to different business sectors, ensuring quality, timeliness of delivery, profitability and strong relationship management.

  • Performing technical reviews of management accounts, statutory accounts, VAT returns and electronic payment files and managing associated risk.

  • Able to develop a strong understanding of firm's policies and work within the established guidelines of quality and risk management framework.

  • Supporting the outsourcing team in India and UK, fostering a culture of coaching and development and rewarding great performance

  • Approachable and accessible and providing technical support and guidance

  • Responsible for team finances and liaising with stakeholders

  • A point of escalation for clients, taking the lead in conversations where required

    Experience of successful sales and business development to support the growth of a business

  • Experience of onboarding and managing large outsourcing assignments Experience of coaching and leading others

  • An understanding of finance functions to include UK GAAP/ FRS101 / FRS102

  • Excellent communication to manage both client & delivery team relationships


  • It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.
  • A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA or CIPFA).
