Full Job Description
- To manage Kia UK's van sales performance by model and channel and to identify risks and opportunities.
- To develop and manage a separate Fleet Matrix and support terms for vans, ensuring effective communication, reporting and control of incentive spend. Ensuring programmes are effectively communicated to Van Centres through quarterly campaign guides and presentations, and to customers through the Kia Business Centres and Regional Business Sales Manager team. (During the set up and start-up phase to conduct a thorough review of dealer margin and incentive programmes to support the development of Kia UK's launch strategy).
- Building relationships with major fleets and key customers and operators in the van market to identify and exploit opportunities to generate sales and revenue, including establishing effective partnerships with specialist conversion companies and experts in motorcaravans, wheelchair accessible vehicles and other markets. Act as the primary interface between Kia UK and convertors.
- Working with Kia UK Dealer Development and other departments to set up, communicate and manage all aspects of the standards, systems and processes required for the effective and profitable operation of Kia Van Centres. (During the set up and start-up phase to lead on a cross functional project to identify the systems, processes and support required from across Kia UK).
- Work with internal teams to establish effective marketing plans and activities and the provision of after sales support (and replacement vehicles) for key customers.
- Act as the Kia UK Fleet / Sales expert on all aspects of the van market and sales, interfacing with the Kia Europe Fleet and PBV teams.
- Representing Kia UK at events and shows to establish and build our reputation in van sales. Establish effective relationships with key dealer partners for the set-up, operation and performance of Kia Van Centres.
Educated to degree or equivalent level - Knowledge of UK Commercial Vehicle Market
- Knowledge of Dealer Operations
- Understanding of business finance packages
- Numerate and literate & Strong negotiator
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Self-starter, motivated, driven and capable of leading a start -up project without guidance
- Competent Project and Stakeholder Management skills
- Ability to interpret data and make commercial recommendations
