Full Job Description

Two opportunities have arisen within the Business Services Team for a committed and flexible individual to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Early Help & Safeguarding teams.
You will be joining a friendly team of experienced Business Services Assistants. The role is varied, fast-paced and the ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines is essential.
Post 1 - 18.5 hours, Safeguarding, permanent, based at Kent's Bank Road, Buxton. The working pattern expectation is Monday and Tuesday all day, Wednesday pm. Our core office hours for visitors is 09.00am to 17.00pm. You may be required to work across other sites within the Locality area for purposes of cover arrangements.
Post 2 - 18.5 hours, Family Help, permanent, based at Heanor Children's Centre. The working pattern is Wednesday pm, Thursday and Friday all day. The centre is open for visitors is 09.00am to 17.00pm.

What will I be doing:
+ Working daily from site providing welcoming and friendly reception services to visitors, including internal/external professionals and families.
+ Managing telephone calls from members of the public, professionals, or external/internal colleagues.
+ Dealing with incoming post and monitoring generic inboxes ensuring incoming emails are dealt with in a timely manner.
+ Processing financial requests including utilising financial and petty cash system.
+ Supporting processes and collection of data around children in care.
+ Utilising the client recording system to input and ensure data and records are up to date and accurate.
+ Supporting the Team Manager with Health and Safety for the site.

+ Excellent IT skills, which includes the use of Microsoft packages.
+ An ability to work as part of a team undertaking a wide range of general administrative tasks.
+ Experience of working in a busy office environment.

+ An ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
+ An ability to work within organisational policies and procedures.
+ An understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and Data Protection.
+ NVQ Level 2 qualification or relevant office experience.
