Full Job Description

We're looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join us on a fixed-term basis until 31st December 2025. You'll work with the Head of People Change in the design and delivery of change and support the implementation of the National Trust's new 10-year strategy. As a member of the Business Services team, you'll deliver professional and customer focused administrative support to colleagues across the Trust. What it's like to work here The People and Business Services Directorate is key to the delivery of our organisational strategy, and you'll be seen as an essential part of its success. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office 2 days a week. However, there is flexibility on where you're based at other times. You'll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. What you'll be doing As Business Services Co-ordinator, you'll support change across the National Trust by developing practical frameworks, support materials, and skills resources to improve and share processes with colleagues. Using your organisational skills, you'll plan and schedule meetings with stakeholders across the Trust, helping to streamline ways of working, reduce travel costs, and minimise our carbon footprint. You'll also coordinate travel itineraries, prepare presentations, and manage logistics for in-person and online meetings, working with central teams, property groups, and external venues to ensure everything runs smoothly.   • A proactive team player
  • An experienced administrator with the ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and maintain attention to detail
  • Experienced in diary management, planning travel itineraries and recording and tracking meeting actions
  • Proficient in Office 365 packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interested in change programmes and the work of a Human Resources team
