Are you an engaging individual who is known for their exceptional organisational skills, with a love for delivering first class support? We have just the role for you as a Business Services Co-ordinator. You'll work 5 days out of 7, usually 8am -4pm, sometimes lone working, and this includes weekends and Bank Holidays. What it's like to work here Reporting to the Facilities Manager, along with four other colleagues, you'll be based at Beningbrough, a busy property attracting over 150,000 visitors year round. You'll be part of a larger team of 60 who play their part in looking after a garden, art gallery, shop, restaurant, and mansion. What you'll be doing The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same so you'll have to love variety. As well as supporting day to day operations, you'll have the chance to support a variety of projects and offer your advice beyond your team. You'll always champion best practice when it comes to business support, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there's a better way of doing something. Some of your daily tasks will include supporting with answering phone and email queries, leading diary catch up meetings, managing bookings, supporting the organising and attending of events, creating rotas and organising contractors. You'll also have Duty Manager responsibilities on a rota basis. As part of the Duty Manager team, you'll be the key person on site to oversee the operation and you'll do this approximately 4 times a month. Full training and support will be given, and you will work closely with colleagues who will support you and help co-ordinate activities.

To deliver this role successfully, you'll need:

  • relevant experience in a Business Support environment; along with facilities or office supervision responsibility
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • to be a great team player
  • to be flexible and customer -focussed with strong customer service skills
  • to be able to multi-task and prioritise own workload
  • to be well organised and attention to detail
  • advanced IT Skills
