Full Job Description

You will be providing full administrative support to clinical colleagues and medical staff including producing of all letters, answering telephone/office cover, supporting clinical meetings with minute taking and entering information on electronic patient record (Systmone). Appointment and clinic management. Data entry and scanning.

You will have experience of working in a team, providing administrative support in an office environment. The role involves communication, so we expect that you have excellent verbal and written skills. These will be tested as you produce reports, maintain filing systems and records and take accurate meeting minutes. We expect you to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, with level one standard in Word and Excel.

The administration team uses a shared email inbox system to coordinate and allocate work tasks. You will have an administration line manager who will support any training and learning needs and meet with you regularly for supervision. The administration team work on part office/part hybrid home working rota due to the service needs and office/phone cover. Full time home working is not available in this particular role.

We are looking for an experienced Business Support Administrator to join the South Hams and West Devon Older Peoples' Mental Health Community Team based at Totnes Community Hospital in Totnes.

The role is dynamic and varied and will be part of a friendly and supportive administration team, forming part of the wider clinical community team. The role is busy and developing alongside our newly implemented patient record system (Systmone).
