Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced business support who can cover a wide range of administrative duties within the home providing effective and efficient administration and financial support to the home manager.

We are a small home so we encourage a "family feel" where possible, this involves eating our meals together, creating positive relationships and supporting our residents through key work.

This is an 18.5 hour a week post, the hours of work can be flexible and this can be discussed at interview., What will you be doing?You will provide general administrational support including maintaining personnel records, answering incoming emails, calls, supporting with IT queries to ensure the day to day smooth running of the home

You will maintain effective financial systems and procedures in order to process invoices, monitor petty cash, carry out bank reconciliations in accordance with Audit and Finance Regulations

You will process all paperwork in relation to the monthly payroll returns, maintaining logs of all additional hours, You will support the manager in maintaining the building, systems, equipment and health and safety to ensure the welfare of all staff, young people and visitors.

About youYou have strong IT skills experienced in using MS packages such as outlook, Word, Excel, Teams

You are great with people able to interact and communicate effectively with staff, visitors and young people

You are good with numbers and have some financial experience; able to manage petty cash and reconcile accounts

You can work to deadlines, organise and prioritise your workload and work effectively under pressure
