Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a Business Support Advisor to join our Authorisation Lifecycle function within the Healthcare Quality and Access group.
This is a full-time opportunity, on a permanent basis. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf London, E14 4PU. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas.
Government departments and agencies are working towards implementing a minimum 60% attendance in office sites.
We are currently implementing a flexible, hybrid way of working, with a minimum of 8 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role, this can flex up to 12 days a month, with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly.

The objective of the Healthcare Quality and Access (HQA) portfolio is to drive quality and critically appraise benefits and risks to inform robust decisions on healthcare access including accelerated access pathways. It will do this by bringing together a fusion of our capabilities across both medicines and medical devices to enable licensing and market access, as well as ensuring compliance with regulations and standards., Reporting to the Team Lead, the postholder is responsible for assisting with inspections planning, GxP invoicing, requisitions and Purchase Orders, the annual Blood Bank Compliance process and project work throughout the division. Generating reports for the purpose of work tracking for managers in Population Health and Innovative Medicines. Activities supporting the licensing of medicines., + Work with GxP Operations Managers to successfully develop, maintain and deliver the annual inspection programme and the raising purchase orders, requisitions and managing invoices for GxP operations.
+ Support office-based assessments as required and in accordance with the documented quality system ensuring any issues arising are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner.
+ Overseeing and management of project work within the Authorisation Lifecycle Unit.
+ Monitoring and management of dedicated Serious Breaches, ACCESS and ORBIS mailboxes.
