Full Job Description

As a Business Support Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in providing efficient administrative and Business this HR&OD Employee Relations team. Your responsibilities will encompass wide and varies business administrative support to ensure seamless operations and the highest standards of service delivery. The Business Support Officer will provide business administrative support that will assist in the mechanisms that aim to motivate employees and reinvigorate their passion or work ethic and increase effective leadership throughout the organization. The post holder will work as part of a team in delivering an efficient and effective Business Management Support service., Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the senior members of the team through some or all of the following: o Organising and planning events as directed, providing all necessary supporting in local materials.o Plan and co-ordinate appointments, including rearranging and prioritising as appropriate.o Provide support to senior team meetings including organising meetings, booking rooms, and ensuring papers are ready and distributed for meetingso Undertake the organisation and planning of events as directed.o Organise travel arrangements for the wider team, booking rail and accommodation in accordance with policy.o Gather information and undertake enquires for the team and the wider group as and when is necessary. Service Improvemento Develop and maintain effective electronic and paper filing systems ensuring information is secure and accessible to other team members.o Create databases and spreadsheets. Input, monitor and check data produced and required for on-going and finite activities.
