Business Support Assistant (Adult Social Care)

G04 £24,790 - £25,183 per annum

37 hours per week

Flexible hours available

Temporary for 12 months

This is an opportunity to join a busy and friendly team within the Social Services department. The team covers a range of support services - domiciliary care, residential care, supported living, day care and other services from third sector providers. You will be a point of contact for Providers, Social Work teams, Finance teams, Service Users and their families regarding the services they are providing / receiving, and will need to have a confident and sensitive telephone manner.

Your duties will include accurate and timely processing of invoices and resolving any payment queries using Proactis/ P2P and WCCIS (training will be provided if needed). You will support with all general administration tasks for the team, whilst ensuring all information is treated in confidence.

You will be need to be able to use initiative to collect information from a range of sources and use this to inform the payments and auditing process. You will support the recording and administrations task for contracts with a range of providers and services.

Strong numerical, Word and Excel skills are essential for this role as the team uses a range of spreadsheets and online databases.

The team use a hybrid working model of working in an office and working at home. You will need to be comfortable using technology to be able to work from any location and to maintain contact with colleagues and must be able to attend the office weekly, as a minimum.
