We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Planning Services Technical Support Team.

You will be part of a team providing technical support across several service areas, which comprises of Development Management, Building Control, Postal Addressing and Land Charges. Duties are wide ranging and could include the uploading, redacting and indexing of documents to our Document Management and Competent Persons systems, dealing with requests for files from customers and logging comments onto the back office database., Additional duties will include processing payments / refunds, generating orders / invoices and a range of other administrative duties.

You will also be expected to work in accordance with defined business processes, be a good team player, who can also organise and prioritise their own workload with limited need for supervision.

Our employees are currently working from home approx. 80% of the week, as part of our Smarter Working plans, though employees are also required to attend the office when necessary for meetings and training purposes.

You will preferably have experience of working in an administrative role with a proven ability to use IT packages including standard Microsoft Office software.

You will be expected to maintain up to date accurate information on computerised records and systems, with an understanding of dealing with potentially confidential and sensitive information.

The role also includes dealing with customers both internally and externally, verbally and in writing, so you will need to demonstrate a proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally., Disability Confident
