Full Job Description

The post holder will be required to assist in the effective business and administrative support to the Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Team, to ensure the smooth running of the Child Protection and Child Looked After Service.

You will be required to assist in all administration matters relating to Child Protection, including sending out invites for Child Protection meetings, maintaining accurate recording of information, organising meetings, dealing with post, electronic filing of reports and providing general administrative and excellent customer service as well as dealing with staff, other agencies, and service users both in person and on the telephone.

You will also provide support for the BSO team by occasionally minuting Child Protection meetings and covering duty.

The successful applicant will be able to work effectively in both a team and on their own, have a great work ethic and be able to pro-actively maintain a high standard of work.

The post will be based at Princess Buildings, with some home working.
