Full Job Description
We are seeking to recruit an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Business Support Manager to lead the busy Greater Manchester Business Support Team (GM BST). We are looking for someone to work collaboratively with the region's Operations Management Team whilst managing the GM BST, including line management responsibilities., The Business Support Manager will report to a Business Operations Manager, it is a senior post with line-management responsibilities. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team supporting the team to deliver a comprehensive, efficient, customer-focused administrative service.
This is a diverse role involving undertaking secretariat functions, administering meetings, producing reports for senior staff or meetings. The ability to work autonomously, to tight timescales, be able to organise a varied and busy workload, for themselves and the Business Support Team, lead a team effectively, manage team dynamics, have advanced knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages and experience using MS Teams is required.
Experience in line management or leadership / supervision is essential to this role as well as proven administration and organisational skills.
You will have experience supporting senior staff, event planning, implementing and maintaining office systems, and health and safety practice. As well as leading and supporting specific projects, managing their own workload, be highly motivated and flexible.
