Full Job Description

Business & Executive Support Team provides a centrally led business support administrative function which is aligned to meet the requirements of Staffordshire County Council, and which fulfils the needs of the organisation as it evolves. This exciting position sits within the Health & Care Team. Currently, this staffing team support a multitude of service areas across the organisation with a core link to Adult Social Care & Health (which includes Adult Safeguarding and services within Care Commissioning and Public Health). This role will predominantly be supporting the Adult Safeguarding Enquiry Team who are responsible for investigating high risk and complex investigations under Adult Safeguarding Procedures., Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing investigation meetings: coordinating the circulation of agendas and relevant papers; scheduling and diary management; attendance at meetings; and taking and distributing appropriate notes.
  • Providing support and assistance to managers across a range of Health and Care Services
  • Accurately input and maintain internal systems including client based information system, .plus daily use of MS Office 365 packages
  • Completing a range of administrative and customer care tasks ensuring compliance with business processes and Service Level Agreements
  • Service Inbox Maintenance, dealing with queries, signposting and taking appropriate action
  • Liaising with internal and external customers and developing good working relationships and engagement

    The role requires flexibility to support the wider Business and Executive Support Service when required to meet priority demands and will enable you to develop your skills and experience a variety of work opportunities across the service.
  • We are looking for you to have: -
  • Administrative skills and experience to support the provision of a timely and high-quality Business Support service for Staffordshire County Council.
  • Ability to take accurate and concise minutes for multi-agency meetings.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with our internal and external customers and administration teams to share best practise using digital solutions where appropriate to improve processes.
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, and to manage changes at short notice.
  • Good IT skills with a knowledge of Staffordshire County Council systems for data management.
  • Experience complying with relevant Information, Privacy and Data Security policies.
