Full Job Description

We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team to enable us to continue to build on our success and bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team. The purpose of the role is to provide an effective administrative support for the Asylum and Migration Team. We are looking for someone who is able to deal with customers and partner agency enquiries on a day-to-day basis and provide support for team.

We want someone with 1-2 years' experience in a similar project support role and who has experience in developing effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and key stakeholders to support the delivery of support for refugees.

About you

We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working on their own, and within a team, who thrive on meeting deadlines and working under pressure. You will be comfortable working to a schedule and ensure that your work is completed to an excellent standard.

Knowledge of administration practices and processes, data protection principles, safeguarding and housing legislation is desirable.

Experience in utilising IT software packages such as Microsoft Office outlook, word and excel is essential.

You must possess the skills and ability to use spreadsheets to produce data accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision and demonstrate good organisational skills and ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet the needs of the team, using Outlook, excel spreadsheets and physical inboxes to manage work effectively and efficiently.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong project support background, to work independently and under pressure in addition to the ability to apply initiative and independence. Drive, determination, and excellent relationship skills are also important.
