Our service areas rely on their business support to provide high quality, efficient, consistent, administrative support to help them deliver their service objectives., You will work with focus and commitment either remotely or in an office, supporting the work of your team and your manager and will benefit from the support, training and development that a career with Birmingham City Council can offer.

We have a number of permanent posts within Business Support in a variety of areas. This busy role will draw on your initiative to plan and prioritise your work, with a proactive and flexible approach. You will be able to communicate effectively at all levels whilst maintaining confidentiality and upholding GDPR principles. Your comprehensive IT experience will allow you to effectively formulate letters and templates, create PowerPoint presentations, confidently update systems and records, sort, filter, and present data as well as identify and implement improved processes. You will be proficient in Outlook and MS Teams, be able to organise and prepare meetings, note take, support, and participate as needed.
