Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Band 5 Business Support Officer within the Quality , Safety and Patient Experience Directorate, base is to be agreed upon appointment.

This is a fixed term post for 14 months

Reporting to the Consultant Practitioner for Mental health as part of the Mental Health service , you will provide efficient and effective business support across the service and wider directorate and collaborate with other directorates.

The role will play a vital role in facilitating effective communication across the service and wider directorate. They will actively develop and maintain relationships with both staff and stakeholders, ensuring maximum staff involvement and fostering a culture of partnership working.

The role will support the Service and wider directorate at various meetings effectively conveying relevant information to all parties involved. They will support projects and the Mental health Governance Structure, supporting the team in providing clear and concise information and data., The Business Support Officers will be required to support the operational planning for their respective Region, and assist with advisory support on work streams and business requirements within the Directorate. The post holder will fulfil the role of Business Support Officer as part of the Quality, Safety and Nursing directorate and will be Regionally based.

The post holder will be contribute to the design and writing of all Board, Exec and other committee papers for the directorate reporting to the Business Support Manager, and as a key member of the Mental Health Service the post holders will work across agencies within Wales as required.
