Full Job Description

Our team works with a wide range of individuals including vulnerable adults, the elderly, people with physical, sensor or cognitive impairments and people with mental health needs. We are the front door (literally) for those in our communities (our customers).

We are passionate about working with people to promote independence and dedicated to making a difference in the community.

The key point to the role is to provide accurate records and delivering essential administrative support, to ensure communication is up to date and delivered to our Adult Social Care Community teams in relation to each customer.

What will you be doing?

Managing all communication correspondence, such as being the first point of contact via telephone, whilst assisting support in meetings, processing purchase orders, and anything else that is required.

Maintaining accurate records, providing administrative support, and facilitating communication.

The main duties of the role are answering the phone (receiving calls from vulnerable members of the community), entering data on our Adult Social Care database, maintaining spreadsheets and taking accurate minutes of meetings.

Support will be given on all aspects of the role from team members and managers.

We would love it if you can exhibit strong organizational abilities and a proactive approach to tasks, capable of working autonomously in a busy, fast paced setting.

Being confident and empathetic on the telephone as this is a large part of the role, thus experience of working within a telephone customer fast paced environment is essential.

As we provide Care plans/Case notes attention to detail in producing clear, concise and accurate records is key. The ideal applicant will have taken minutes or written Case/Care notes previously.

If you have knowledge of either High Mail, Eclipse or Care Motive this would be beneficial. At minimum we require basic of Word, Excel with Case/Care note/minute taking.
