Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join Telford & Wrekin Council's Transport Team who are responsible for the delivery of safe, reliable, sustainable, and innovative value for money transport services to the residents of Telford. Working as part of a team, who support the Passenger Transport Team Leader, this role involves a variation of duties such as the below.
- Carry out Personal Transport Budget audits, including communicating with customers, interrogating evidence provided, raising invoices where monies are due and where required working with the fraud team to reclaim monies owed.
- Carry out on site audits with providers at schools, checking DBS badges, names and vehicle compliance.
- Uses available systems to extract reports and analyse data
- To maintain, interrogate and update accurate database systems to carry out a number of functions; including but not limited to provider safeguarding, access and training record/ checks, internal staff safeguarding access and training record/ checks, contracts and Customer records. The successful post holder will possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), administrative skills and organisational skills. They will also have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, whilst ensuring all audits are completed accurately and effectively. Experience of working in a customer facing environment is essential for this role.
