Full Job Description

The post holder will work as part of a team delivering an efficient and effective Business Management Support Service to co-ordinate and support managers and staff in the delivery of their key programmes. Established in 2024 as part of the new NHS England structure, the Business Support Team provides support to eight directorates within the region via three hubs:- Hub 1- Chief Operating Officer / Strategy and Transformation Hub 2- Nursing and Medical / Public Health Hub 3- Workforce Training and Education / Finance / Health and Justice

  • Provide business and office management support, contributing to the completion of business returns and reports, update on budgets and supporting team business plan.
  • Act as the main point of contact with stakeholders on the management of relevant activities.
  • Organising and/orfacilitatingmulti-disciplinary meetings where agreed and present on progress, ensuring that all actions are logged and followed up asrequired.
  • Support teams to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/activities is planned,managedand delivered effectively.
  • Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring,implementationand evaluation of the tasks/activities by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis,communicationsand stakeholder management.
  • Ensure that all documentation relevant to the business is completed and kept up to date in line with organisational requirements.
  • Provide the main point of contact for the business task; lead on regular reporting with local / national teams',collate returns, undertake analysis, provide update briefings for directors, support evaluation of the programme and enable systems and processes for regional colleagues to share and learn from the outputs of the programme.
  • Manage / secretariat relevant meetings, including taking minutes / actions, collatingpapersand preparing agendas.

  • Delivering value for money., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
