Full Job Description

At L'Oréal, a Business Systems Change Manager is a cross divisional expert on the Sales & Distribution (SD) Module of SAP and EDI, helping to deliver business transformation projects, new system functionality as well as supporting the existing system ecosystem in collaboration with IT. A DAY IN THE LIFE You'll be joining the 5-strong Business Systems team, as we navigate the transition to a new SAP ERP implementation while working on pre-requisite and parallel projects. A L'Oréal Business Systems Change Manager is a whirlwind of activity. Your role sits in between the business Order to Cash teams and the IT function, acting as the conduit of information between them. Your role is anything but ordinary. Imagine starting your day working closely with the IT development teams and retail partners to collect requirements of a new integration, shaping and leading solution design to ensure compatibility with Distribution Centre and Order to Cash processes. You balance customer versus L'Oréal requirements and prioritise solutions that enable rapid delivery. You then jump on a call to investigate an incident raised either by pro-active reporting or by the operational teams, validating the required behaviour and sharing the information back to IT in clearly and concisely, including all relevant information. Afternoons may involve communicating the risks associated with ongoing transformation projects, considering their impact on all relevant business functions. This requires a thorough understanding of the system landscape. You will also validate IT-delivered system improvements before implementation, ensuring a comprehensive and up-to-date test suite identifies any bugs or regressions before deployment to the live system.

  • Demonstrable experience of working with the SAP SD module and EDI
  • Strong planning and organisation skills with an ability to appropriately reprioritise when it's right to do so
  • A solution orientated mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity
  • Experience of implementing process-improvement
  • A meticulous approach with the ability to demonstrate the highest level of attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills - Ability to root cause issues, empowering you to take responsibility and contribute your own ideas.
  • Can do attitude - No problem is too small, supporting others in need and seeing challenges as an enabler for change
  • Working at least an intermediate level on Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge and experience of industry recognised testing frameworks
