Are you passionate about teaching and inspiring the next generation of business and travel professionals? Join our dynamic Business and Travel Department as a Lecturer, where you will deliver high-quality teaching sessions and employ a range of effective learning strategies to ensure outstanding outcomes for all students.

You will play a key role in preparing students for exams and assessments, while also providing essential pastoral support to help them achieve their full potential.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver consistently high-quality teaching sessions using diverse learning strategies, maintaining high expectations for students to foster their ambition and aspiration.

Utilize technology effectively for both classroom and online learning, conducting comprehensive student assessments, including internal verification and liaising with external verifiers.

Lead designated courses, maintaining accurate student records and meeting retention, attendance, success, and satisfaction targets.

Provide academic and pastoral support to help students achieve their goals, embedding Maths and English into your teaching practice in line with the college's strategy.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall student experience and prepare students for the workforce, striving for excellence in teaching and learning by working with the Head of Curriculum and Quality.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance employer involvement in the learning process.

Experience in curriculum design and assessment meeting awarding body standards.

Strong leadership skills with a focus on quality improvement and student engagement.

Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, equality and diversity, health and safety, and child protection legislation.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive performance.

Well-developed organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Degree and/or professional qualification in a relevant subject area.

Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy, with proficiency in IT applications.
