Butchery Operative

We produce over 25,000 packs of meat a week, and our dispatch team are responsible for the collation and dispatching of it all. This is the final process in our butchery, and involves sealing, weighing, labelling, and ensuring that all "loads" leave the butchery at the appointed times with no delays to the transport company.

At our butchery we produce over 15,000 packs of meat a week and our dispatch team are responsible for the collation and dispatching of it all. This is the final process in our Butchery which involves the sealing, weighing, labelling and ensuring that all "loads" leave the Butchery at the appointed times with no delays to the Transport Company. As a team member, you will support the Team Manager in delivering the day's requirement for your department and rotating around the team doing different tasks.

Experience of working within a production or manufacturing environment
Good time management and organisation skills
Able to work in an accurate and methodical manner
Willingness to develop your knowledge further
Self-Motivated

Location: The Butchery, Dean Court, Lower Dean, Buckfastleigh, TQ11 0LT - Reliable transportation is required to commute to The Butchery, as it is not accessible by public transport routes.
Contract: Permanent contract, 39 hours a week Sunday to Thursday from 6.30am - 2.45pm.
Salary: £12.55 per hour

Riverford meat is organic, British, meticulously sourced, properly hung and carefully butchered for the very best quality and flavour., This is a permanent contract, 39 hours a week Sunday to Thursday from 6.30am - 2.45pm.
