This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional from the procurement world to join a premier aerospace business in Gloucestershire in the position of Buyer. You'll be involved in the procurement of components to support a busy engineering team, including bespoke projects. Procuring components ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost-efficiency
Build on new and existing relationships with suppliers.
Coordination and placement of purchase orders
Coordination with strategic sourcing and regional supply chain teams.
Maintenance of part planning parameters and conversion of demand triggers.
Obtain delivery commitments and will coordinate with regional supply chain team.
Effectively influence internal site functions.
Ensure contractual terms and conditions are actively followed.

Manufacturing or engineering sector exposure
ERP / MRP experience
Good negotiating skills
CIPS qualification desirable
Ability to work under pressure
