Job Overview

  • This role will report into the Procurement Manager - Bids, Mobilisations and Acquisitions within our Centre of Excellence Team and will support primarily on:

  • Bids - Leading on obtaining competitive supplier pricing, working closely with the Procurement Category & Sourcing Teams and Bid Pricing Teams


  • Mobilisations - Supporting pricing validations as well as supplier onboarding activities to ensure suppliers can be appropriately vetted and loaded into Mitie systems, ready to be deployed in time for glo live of a new client., working closely with the Procurement Centre of Excellence Team and Operations Team.

    Main Duties
  • Sourcing, Negotiations & Contracting


  • Support on a range of sourcing activities, including the gathering of spend, volume and service needs data in preparation for sourcing activities.

  • Negotiate and influence suppliers to achieve best market value


  • Stakeholder Management


  • Manage and support a wide range of internal stakeholders

  • Supporting the development of annual targets and goals across cost, quality, reliability, and delivery

  • Work cross-functionally with other departments and internal stakeholders

  • Managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, from aligning with internal colleagues to gather, assess and challenge business requirements to appropriately challenging external stakeholders whilst maintaining relationships

    2 to 3 years procurement experience, showing evidence of considerable self-development.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills (written and oral), customer facing skills, excellent organizational skills, time management skills.

  • Accountable and dedicated, with a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving and fast paced environment.

  • Clear track record of stakeholder management with a clear focus on strategy implementation and risk mitigation.

  • Capable of conflict management and resolution.

  • CIPS qualification is preferred but not essential.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
