Buyer

The successful candidate will ensure collaboration with responsible suppliers and identify cost saving throughout the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement of both direct and indirect products and services.
• Ensure that suppliers adhere to business governance standards and meet the changing requirements of the organization.
• Identify and implement initiatives to achieve cost savings for group products and services.
• Act as a key contributor to the Procurement department, supporting efforts to deliver exceptional service and value propositions.
• Manage purchasing budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock.
• Work closely with product data and report on this during launch.
• Update and manage the product catalogue
  
  My client, a leader in luxury products for high spec interiors, are looking for a Buyer to join them on a full-time basis. Within this role you will need the ability to read, design / technical drawings., Degree in Product Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering is ideal
• 3 years in product development of manufacturing process development
• 2 to 3 years of experience of project management or purchasing/procurement
• Good manufacturing knowledge and ability to assess factories performance and skills
• Ability to work autonomously & independently
• Good negotiation skills
  
  £45,000 DOE
