Full Job Description

The purpose of this role is to oversee the selection and negotiation of market-leading terms for the beer and cider categories. You will collaborate closely with logistics to manage the stocked product range, aiming for optimal product availability while balancing working capital. Additionally, you will work with the insight and finance teams to set market-fit selling prices that deliver suitable margins aligned with budgeted growth.
About the role
In this role, you'll negotiate commercial terms for beer and cider products, aiming to meet budgeted cost savings and income targets. You'll collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure a market-fit product range and regularly review pricing to guide the sales team.
Key responsibilities include analyzing market trends, assessing category performance, managing new products, and overseeing the product recall process. You'll also ensure accurate logging of commercial agreements in the ERP system and support ad hoc projects.
Success in this role is measured by achieving volume, margin, and cost-saving targets while delivering a competitive, market-ready range.

You bring in-depth knowledge of the beer and cider industries, combined with advanced negotiation skills that enable you to secure favorable commercial terms. Your understanding of supply chain dynamics and cost-to-serve principles supports efficient and effective decision-making. You excel in planning and organization, ensuring that all processes are well-coordinated and executed. With excellent analytical abilities, you are adept at interpreting complex data to drive strategic decisions. Additionally, your strong IT skills enhance your ability to manage and utilize various systems effectively.
Professional Knowledge & Qualifications

+ Min 5 years FMCG experience
+ Strong knowledge of the drinks industry an advantage
+ Full driving license
