Responsible for buying and purchasing administration including, but not limited to adding NPD, promotional nominations, price changes & working with manufacturers and wholesalers for ad-hoc queries. This is an excellent introduction into Buying.
What you'll be doing?
Playing a key role in the management of the promotional process, ensuring that the promo planner is up to date, chasing supplier information, uploading agreed promo forms and checking accuracy
Daily ordering of products with manufacturers and wholesalers
Ensuring prices are loaded onto the system correctly as instructed by the buyers
Managing the new line process, requesting new line forms from suppliers, accurately setting up products within the required timings
Liaising with suppliers and managing tasks around our trading calendar, developing relationships with the supplier base
Producing ad hoc reports and gathering information as instructed by the buyers
Reviewing competitor sites regularly to ensure we keep up to date with trends and reporting back to the team
Prioritising and managing workload and to do list, managing expectations cross functionally
Updating content on existing lines to ensure best in class shopper experience
Respond to CS query emails in line with the SLA
Numerate and IT literate (used It systems and is quick to learn)
Ability to use MS Office suite including Excel at intermediate level
Demonstrate drive, initiative and proactivity in role
Proven ability to work both as part of a bigger team and individually
Ability to prioritise and organise tasks and workload and self-motivated
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and able to deal with people at all levels
Display high levels of accuracy
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C or above
Proven track record if administrative excellence
Experience of working in a fast-paced, pressured environment and able to deliver to deadlines
