C# Developer (SQL)

The senior developer would sit within the Securitisation IT team in London as part of Global Markets, Risk and P&L. The aim of this team is to work closely with the Securitisation IT team located in London, India and Portugal to support securitisation businesses across the group and the regulatory capital reporting requirements.

This technical role includes designing, building, and supporting business solutions within the existing framework as well as extending the framework for the business need.

The business has two in-house applications that support its main activities of securitisation. One of the in-house applications is built on 3-tiers: Angular web client, C# services middle tier with restful API and SQL server database. This application has links to another in-house application that is built on Documentum/Oracle database with Java and Angular interface., As a C# Developer you will be responsible for:

• Working closely with Business Analysts to ensure the deliveries meet requirements.


• Developing, unit testing and implementing new functionalities and enhancements in the system in accordance with bank-wide technical architecture standards and dev-ops processes.


• Implementing and promoting service-oriented architecture with emphasise on micro services and API first.


• Implementing workflows to model business processes.


• Managing code reviews and sourcing control repository as well as deployments (with production support team).


• Improving existing software by correcting bugs, refactoring or rewriting code when identified as necessary.


• Managing general software issues relating to data integrity, system efficiency, functional architecture, performance etc.


• Providing a clear progress update on tasks to the team manager on a regular basis, escalating risk and issues in a timely manner.
  
  Strong proven experience in MS SQL server database.


• Strong proven experience in C# dotnet.


• Experience in business process modelling using Camunda. (Advantageous)


• Experience in Angular v10+ (Advantageous)


• Experience in cross-platform applications (Advantageous)


• Knowledge of optimising stored procedures and query performance.


• Experience in working within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries.


• Strong level of autonomy and proactive working.
