Full Job Description
Detailing of manufacturing drawings from manufacturing design, assisting in the creation of concepts for new process / applications. Update and maintain existing drawings and drawing registers. Assisting to all engineering staff the creation or modification of existing drawings. Generate the bill of materials and assist with purchasing and expediting Main duties and responsibilities: Designing of purpose-built machinery and modifications to existing equipment:
- Accurate mechanical assemblies
- Structure and Guarding Detailing of manufacturing drawings:
- Tooling engineering drawings
- Fabrication and sheet work drawings Project management:
- Bill of Materials
- Assistance in compilation of Technical manuals
Must have good communication skills both face to face and via various media - Proficient in Microsoft office products
- Take ownership of tasks
- Self-time management
- Must have experience of Autodesk Inventor & Vault, HNC or NQV4 in mechanical discipline
- GCSE math's and English Experience required:
- Autodesk Inventor and Vault use
- Understanding of manufacturing process
