Location: Lee-on-the-Solent

Salary: £50k+

Are you a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer looking for a challenging and rewarding role?

Holt Engineering are seeking a talented Alphacam CAD/CAM Programmer to join my client in Lee-on-the-Solent. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming CNC machines using Alphacam software. The company has been running for over 70 years and specialise in precision components for the Aerospace and Oil&Gas sectors. They are looking for an experienced Programmer to open up further markets as they expand.

CAD/CAM Programmer Responsibilities:

Create and edit CNC programs using Alphacam software
Generate accurate tool paths and machine code
Optimise programs for efficient machining
Work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure accurate part production
Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD/CAM technologies and industry best practices

CAD/CAM Programmer Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Alphacam CAD/CAM software
In-depth knowledge of CNC machining processes and tooling
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
