Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), This is a unique opportunity to truly make a fundamental difference to the way that calibration is conducted. This in an organisation with innovative technologies at the heart of its manufacturing processes. The Swindon site is a Steriles Pharmaceutical Manufacturing CMO site You will work within the calibration team practically delivering the calibration needs of the site to challenging timelines and within a live cleanroom environment.,

  • Hands-on involvement in equipment calibration, record-keeping, and fault-finding.
  • Manage the site's calibration schedule autonomously.
  • Conduct and complete calibration activities independently.
  • Ensure cGMP compliance in all activities to meet regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and update calibration procedures to the latest standards.
  • Implement proven methods to future-proof solutions.
  • Oversee scheduling and execution of calibration activities.
  • Handle crucial metrics for the Calibration team, with the objective of avoiding any overdue tasks.
  • Coordinate onsite and offsite calibration services.
  • Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S):
  • Understand and follow procedures and safe work systems.
  • Comply with EH&S rules, signage, and instructions at all times.
  • Promptly report and investigate accidents, near misses, and rule breaches.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to reduce overall energy consumption.

    Engineering qualifications are advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in an audited environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to follow standard procedures accurately without deviation.
