Full Job Description

The Senior Call Handler role would be suitable for those with experience of service user contact, experience of or interest in management and training of staff, an excellent telephone manner, exemplary communication and leadership skills, thirst for learning, experience of and an aptitude for clinical systems, and a strong customer focus with an interest in service development. Comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
The service offers:
+ A single referral point for GPs and other professionals
+ A 24-hour telephone advice and support for people who use services and carers to be able to self-refer
+ More responsive crisis services with improved experiences for people who use services, carers and professionals
Our aim is to provide people with mental health issues access to the support they need at the right time, with positive outcomes.
The service is 24/7 but as a call handler you will be working a shift pattern within our team based at the Avondale Unit at Royal Preston Hospital.
Shift times and days are negotiable and can be discussed at interview, This role is for a driven, inspirational and motivational admin lead who will manage a high quality and highly efficient administrative workforce within the locality. The post holder will be innovative and forward thinking.

The post holder will be creative with an inclusive approach towards problem solving and service development.
