Call-Out for Home-Ed Actors for free weekly film session! (11-16 year olds)

Are you interested in acting, film, and making new friends? Join us in creating 'Archana', an action-adventure film that will be co-created (scenes) acted and filmed by you! Direction and plot creation by a creative neurodivergent home ed tween! Sessions will be co-led by a qualified experienced film tutor who we are currently recruiting and have a budget for.

• Please note safeguarding checks and no lone working are mandatory requirements for any person we employ. There is no charge for this session, parents and carers are instead asked to actively support the success of the session through support of their child and growth of a grass roots community group.


We're looking for enthusiastic young actors, (no experience necessary) aged between 11-16 (accompanied by a parent / carer at all times), who want to act and contribute towards the direction of Archana's coming to life! You will be in an exciting, non-competitive and collaborative environment, where you will also learn valuable film skills. There will be lots of creative bumps along the way, this is a fun creative learning process with friendships to be made along the way.

When: Wednesdays, 2:00 - 4:00 PM from Autumn 2024. (date to be confirmed)

Where: St George's Playing Field, Nailsworth if weathers ok (or local indoor area we are currently sorting out if not.)

No experience needed, just come as you are, and we can take it from there. A warm welcome awaits you.

Maximum 8 children, first come first served. Neurodivergent and disabled children welcome. Accessibility needs of all kinds can be discussed and prioritised and supported as much as we can. 121 carers warmly welcome. Please note this is just a parent created group not a professional set up, however. Parents are always fully responsible for their children at all times.
