The Sussex CAMHS Acute services have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Consultant Psychiatrist to join their expanding crisis and home treatment service. This is an exciting opportunity to design and develop an innovative new care model for Young People (12yrs -18yrs) . With a focus on play an prioritising the delivery of a safe, effective and caring service to those who can be safely treated in the community as an alternative to admission or supported discharge from an inpatient bed.
This is a new post, following the commissioning of the service as an alternative to admission to a CAMHS ward, by the Kent and Sussex Provider Collaborative. The Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to work with the multidisciplinary team in the new crisis & intensive home treatment service and provide clinical leadership alongside senior MDT colleagues., At Sussex Partnership we are committed to providing opportunities for flexible working. This job attracts a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, in addition to (up to) £8000 relocation allowance. The RRP payment is paid in the following instalments: - £5000 payment paid on appointment
- £5000 retention payment paid at 12 month anniversary of employment
- £6500 retention payment paid at 30 month anniversary of employment
- £8500 retention payment paid at 48 month anniversary of employment
