The CNWL Temporary Staffing Service offers flexible working patterns which supports you and the Trust, and can also provide frequent work for those with regular availability and previous NHS nursing background.
The post holder will deliver high quality safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of professional conduct.
The role includes looking after children and young people. We want to recruit from different nursing backgrounds, in order to broaden and develop the experience and skill mix available to young people.
We are looking for innovative, dynamic Nurses who are interested in developing their careers within a supportive and highly skilled nursing, medical and therapeutic team. Along with developing your core nursing skills, there are opportunities to develop your therapeutic skills in working closely with our skilled psychology, family therapy and occupational therapy team members.
We're passionate about young people's mental health outcomes, and strive to deliver first-class patient-centred, safe and effective care. You will be supporting young people to build resilience, better coping strategies and healthy relationships., The registration process will include an interview and you will be required to visit one of our nearby sites to verify your identity in person. Depending on your role, you may also be asked to complete some basic tests. The process is as follows:

Who are we?
The team consists of two consultant child and adolescent psychiatrists, junior doctors, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, family therapists, support workers, a ward manager and matron. We also have a fantastic on-site school with an outstanding team of teachers and visiting tutors for music, art therapy and drama therapy.
What do we do?
We work closely with young people and their families to understand their problems, provide a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, formulation and treatment plan to allow for them to return to their homes safely as quickly as possible. We treat a wide variety of psychiatric illnesses such as psychosis, mania, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. We don't currently treat young people with primary eating disorders or those requiring naso-gastric tubes.

Lavender Walk is an inpatient unit looking after children and young people aged 13 -18. We want to recruit from different nursing backgrounds, in order to broaden and develop the experience and skill mix available to young people at Lavender Walk.
We are looking for innovative, dynamic Nurses who are interested in developing their careers within a supportive and highly skilled nursing, medical and therapeutic team.
Typical tasks for this role?
+ 1:1 sessions with all the young people on a daily basis
+ Primary Nurse for 1 to 2 young people
+ Co-facilitating groups and activities with MDT colleagues
+ Support young people with daily living skills
+ Ensuring the safe running of the unit and policy and protocols are followed
+ Attending CPA's and professional meetings
+ Medication administration including depots
+ Risk assessments
+ Care planning

Welcome to CNWL Mental Health Inpatient Services for Children and Young People. Collingham Child and Family Centre is one of six National 7 Day Inpatient settings, that work in partnership with Chelsea Hospital Schools for children aged 5 - 13 years old. We are currently recruiting for an exciting CAMHS Clinical Team Leader (RCN, RMN, RNLD).
Nestled between High Street Kensington & Earls Court, Collingham is a Tier 4 Children's Mental Health Unit which provides acute inpatient and schooling for young people with a range of with complex mental health needs and behavioural problems.
The team provides intensive assessment and treatment for children with complex emotional, behavioural and psychological difficulties, offering intensive work with families/parents and carers to develop their parenting skills.
Our highly experienced and dedicated multidisciplinary team is committed to offering the highest standards of care to help children and families regain their self-confidence. Adopting a solution focused approach for hard to manage problems and steer a course towards optimism, newly realised potential and a positive future for the child and their family network.
