Full Job Description
In Telford/Shropshire we are proud to be at the front line of integrated multi-agency work with Neurodiverse (ND) children and their families.
This exciting role will give you the opportunity to be part of our work alongside a range of professionals with ND expertise.
We want hear from Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. We are happy to support the Training of ADI-R and ADOS.
You will complete:
+ ADI-R assessments and ADOS assessments
+ Initial Neurodevelopmental assessments
+ School observations
+ Triage referrals
You will be part of an integrated MDT developing positive relationships with colleagues in Education, children and their families to ensure we understand and meet the challenges they face when children have additional needs.

Please contact us to arrange an informal discussion, + Ensure the delivery of high quality ND assessments within the BeeU team. The work is with children and young people aged 5-18 years with significant concerns around their social communication and interaction.
+ ADHD assessment involving the interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and where appropriate self report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi structured interviews.
Autism assessment involves contributing to and leading on specialist
assessments for children with complex social, interaction and communication difficulties. This would include the use of standardised assessment tools e.g. ADI-R, ADOS.
+ To ensure assessments are provided in line with NICE Guidance as well as other relevant local and national documentation.
+ Demonstrate high personal standards in clinical practice.
+ Responsible for prioritising workload, allocation of work to oneself and other staff, and to cover all levels of priority of work within the service.
+ To make clinical judgements backed up by clinical reasoning and
recommendations regarding appropriate actions/sign posting in consultation with multi-disciplinary staff and in accordance with the service specification., Parental/ Developmental interviews to explore the client's
developmental history relating to Autism / ADHD (e.g. ADI-R ).
ADOS-2 Assessments
Neurodevelopmental (ND) initial assessments to support ADHD assessments
School observations
Liaison with schools and other professionals
Contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings
Report writing: full neurodevelopmental assessments
